Daily Creative visited Carla Gimbatti in her Buenos Aires studio to discuss creativity and her unexpected journey following a path that was originally focused on economics and finance. While waiting for a green card, she was inspired by seeing people’s fingerprints and began making portraits. She explains how her inspiration in materials led her to work as a sculptor, and the freedom she experienced as a creative because she had no formal art training when she was young.
