Welcome to Daily Creative's PATHWAY to creativity! We believe that everyone is creative, and that creativity is a muscle that needs to be exercised. Accessing your creativity can put you in an amplified state of existence and in touch with an innate power that exists in all of us. Igniting this creative spark has many mental health benefits and can lead to expansive personal transformation and self discovery.
In this PATHWAY, you will receive one email a day that will include a quick creative exercise. We encourage you to embrace it, let go of inhibitions and give into the process without considering the end result. The exercises are designed to help you tap into your inner world, awaken your curiosity and find a path to your own unique self expression through creative play and inspiration. We are delighted to welcome you!
Please enjoy the below video from our CEO and Co-Founder, Blythe Harris and scroll down to learn more about creativity and the many benefits. Tomorrow you will receive your first exercise, which will launch your fourteen-day creative journey. Enjoy!
Welcome, from our CEO and Co-Founder, blythe harris
We recommend the following to prepare:
Carve out an interruption free 5-10 minutes each day. We recommend morning but choose a time when you can devote uninterrupted focus .
Leave your self-judgement behind. The PATHWAY is about the process, not the end result
Choose your space: you do not need a big space, but find a desk or table where you won't be distracted by to-do lists, work or people
Prepare your space and materials. You will need: a notebook, a pen, some unlined paper, a pencil, any colored pencils, crayons OR markers. (MM please feel free to edit)
Open your mind by opening your body. Take some time time to move around or stretch before getting started and think about getting in the mindset. We have included a video with Natalie Kuhn, Co-CEO and Founding teacher of The Class at the bottom of this page for inspiration.
Daily Creative CEO & Co-Founder, Blythe Harris, shares more about creativityy and the many benefits below, please watch before you get started
Take a photo of the work you make each day

EVERYONE IS CREATIVE: The George Land & Beth Jarman Study
In 1968, George Land and Beth Jarman developed a creativity test to help find the most innovative engineers & scientists for NASA. The assessment could predict who had the best creative problem solving skills. The study led them to question if creativity was genetic or learned, so they gave the same test to 1,600 children. Their findings were profound - when the test was given to the group at age five, 98% scored at genius level of creativity. When it was given to the same group at age ten, only 30% scored at genius level. The score dipped to 12% at age 15, and 2% at age 25+. The study proved that everyone is born with a high creative capacity, but it diminishes over time if it is not nourished.

Natalie Kuhn, Co-CEO and founding teacher at The Class shares a simple reset to "help the body get out of it's default shape, so the mind can get out of its default attitude." Her approach embodies our shared belief in the importance of mental clearing and engaging the brain body connection as an impactful approach to any practice that can be helpful and empowering.
Architect and artist, Peter Sabbath, talks about the infinite potential of each moment and making the choice to live creatively.
